BLACKPINK Holds Top Spot With “DDU-DU DDU-DU”; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2018, July Week 1

BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” solidifies its hold on the No. 1 spot this week! This song won four more music shows last week: “Inkigayo,” “Music Bank,” “Music Core,” and “M!Countdown.” It also topped all internet charts and our Soompi Airplay. Congratulations again to BLACKPINK!

Moving up nine spots to take second place this week is BTOB’s new song “Only One For Me.” This is the title song from BTOB’s 11th mini-album “THIS IS US.” It is an acoustic pop ballad with synth sound, with the lyrics about a heart wrenching love confession. “Only One For Me” won on “Show Champion” last week, preventing “DDU-DU-DDU-DU” from sweeping all the music shows.

Holding steady at No. 3 is BTS’s “FAKE LOVE.”
